Water Heater Installation & Replacement

A new tank installed, often the same day you call, with the permit, seismic straps and old-unit haul-away included.

When a tank water heater fails, you want hot water back today, not next week. If you call before noon we can often have a new tank installed the same day anywhere in North County.

We install 40- and 50-gallon gas and electric tanks from Bradford White, Rheem, A.O. Smith and other major brands, and we bring the installation up to current California code while we're there.

What's included

  • New tank sized to your household
  • Double seismic strapping as California requires
  • New temperature and pressure relief valve piped to drain safely
  • Expansion tank where your plumbing system requires one
  • City permit and inspection
  • Removal and disposal of your old tank

What it costs

A standard 40- or 50-gallon gas tank replacement typically runs $900–$1,800 installed in North County. Code upgrades such as a new expansion tank, venting corrections or a relocated unit push toward the upper end. You get the full number in writing before we start.

Every job starts with a free written estimate. The number you approve is the number you pay.
